Submission Guidelines
The submission deadline for AAS Painting/Drawing students is Friday, April 26th by 5pm.
Submissions should be brought to the Associate Degree office (unless otherwise instructed) on or before April 26, no later than 5pm.
Students may submit up to 6 paintings/drawings/3D works/original fine art created for a class during their time at Pratt. No outside work will be accepted. All work must be ready for display (framing is optional). Any framed work or stretched canvases must be ready to hang (ie. with hooks & wire attached).
Each piece being submitted must be labeled/numbered using the provided labels. Each student must also complete a submission form. (Labels and Forms are available in the Associate Degree office and by clicking on the link on this websites's homepage.)
Please submit work in portfolio or large plastic bag clearly labeled on the outside with your name as well as your submission form. Submission of very large works should be coordinated through Mark O’Grady.
Submissions will be juried by Associate's faculty/staff April 29-May 3. Mark O’Grady will be the Exhibition Coordinator for AAS Painting/Drawing. Students will be notified selected works on Friday, May 3 - all works not selected should be collected and removed on the 3rd.
Consider the following when choosing work to submit: Space is limited. Choose works which best show your talents and skills. Choose pieces which best incorporate concept and craft.
Only works completed in the Associate Degree Department of Pratt Institute will be considered for inclusion in the show. Other works, professional or from other schools shall not be considered.
