Submission Guidelines


The submission deadline for AOS Illustration students is Monday, April 15 by 5:00pm.

All work will be submitted digitally. Submissions must be made no later than 5:00pm on April 15 to Google Drive. Each Student will be emailed a link to their own Google Drive submission folder.

Students may submit any number of original pieces created during their time at Pratt. All submissions must meet the submission requirements to be considered.

Works must be submitted as jpgs at 300 dpi -or- as Illustrator PDFs (for vector images) with minimum dimensions of 6" x 6” for both file types. (Meaning that in any direction the minimum dimension accepted is 6".) Each jpg.pdf being submitted must be labeled/numbered as follows: lastname_firstname_number (whitehurst_zach_1, whitehurst_zach_2 etc...). Each student must also complete a submission form. (You will be emailed a link to fill out a google form.)

Any 3D works should also be submitted digitally with 2D works. These images can be a lower resolution but should still be jpgs or pdfs. If accepted, any 3D works will need to be ready for display and brought to the installation by the student or will not be included in the show.

*Any additional elements Illustration students wish to have as a part of their Pratt Shows: Design space must be discussed with administration prior to submission deadlines. Please see or email Zach Whitehurst or Susan Young as soon as possible. (i.e. special display elements, digital display etc.)

Submissions will be juried by Associate Degree Department faculty/staff April 16-19. Zach Whitehurst will be the Exhibition Coordinator for AOS Illustration. Students will be notified of selected works April 20-22. All printing will be taken care of by the Department.
